Drafted: Cleveland Browns in the 8th round (110th overall) of the 1964 National Football League (NFL) Draft

In the 1968 season, Kelly scored 302.96 fantasy points for the Cleveland Browns. He played He played in 14 games with 1,239 rushing yards (NFL league leader) and 16 rushing touchdowns (NFL league leader). He also had 22 receptions for 297 receiving yards and 4 receiving touchdowns.
