Starting with the the 1963 football season (AFL and NFL combined), I will recognize the top scoring rookie as that seasons Fantasy Football Encyclopedia Rookie of the Year. This award will be based on total fantasy points scored that season.
In the 1963 season, Flatley scored 161.70 fantasy points for the Minnesota Vikings. He played in 14 games with 51 receptions for 867 receiving yards and 4 receiving touchdowns. His best game of the season was a 28.60 fantasy point performance in Week 10 (see Game by Game Breakdown for details).
