1966 FFE All-Rookie Team

Along with naming a Fantasy Football Encyclopedia Rookie of the Year winner for each season starting in 1963, I also wanted to recognize the other outstanding rookies from each individual season. Each All-Rookie Team will have one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers and one tight end. Here is the 1966 Fantasy Football Encyclopedia All-Rookie TeamFantasy points are shown in ( ). 

Quarterback

Randy Johnson, Atlanta Falcons (140.00)

Johnson played in 14 games (started 11 games) and had 1,795 passing yards with 12 passing touchdowns and 21 interceptions. He also had 142 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns. 

Running Back

Bobby Burnett, Buffalo Bills (200.50)


Burnett played in 14 games (started 14 games) and had 766 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns. He also had 34 receptions for 419 receiving yards and 4 receiving touchdowns. Burnett was the 1966 Fantasy Football Encyclopedia Rookie of the Year


Mike Garrett, Kansas City Chiefs (154.60)


Garrett played in 14 games (started 4 games) and had 801 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns. He also had 15 receptions for 175 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown. Additionally, he had 1 punt return touchdown. 

Wide Receiver

Bobby Crockett, Buffalo Bills (102.30)


Crockett played in 14 games (started 11 games) and had 31 receptions for 533 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns. 


Karl Noonan, Miami Dolphins (45.40)


Noonan played in 14 games (started 7 games) and had 17 receptions for 224 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown. 


John Roderick, Miami Dolphins (32.60)


Roderick played in 6 games (started 4 games) and had 11 receptions for 156 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown. 

Tight End

Pete Lammons, New York Jets (121.50)


Lammons played in 14 games (started 14 games) and had 41 receptions for 565 receiving yards and 4 receiving touchdowns.
