Drafted: San Diego Chargers in the 4th round (94th overall) of the 1967 American Football League (AFL) Draft.

In the 1967 season, Post scored 174.46 fantasy points for the San Diego Chargers. He played in 13 games with 663 rushing yards and 7 rushing touchdowns. He also had 32 receptions for 278 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown.
