1968 FFE All-Rookie Team

Along with naming a Fantasy Football Encyclopedia Rookie of the Year winner for each season starting in 1963, I also wanted to recognize the other outstanding rookies from each individual season. Each All-Rookie Team will have one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers and one tight end. Here is the 1968 Fantasy Football Encyclopedia All-Rookie Team. Fantasy points are shown in ( ). 

Quarterback

Marlin Briscoe, Denver Broncos (170.36)

Briscoe played in 11 games (started 5 games) and had 1,589 passing yards with 14 passing touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He also had 308 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. 

Running Back

Paul Robinson, Cincinnati Bengals (193.10)


Robinson played in 14 games (started 14 games) and had 1,023 rushing yards (AFL league leader) and 8 rushing touchdowns (AFL league leader). He also had 24 receptions for 128 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown. Robinson was the 1968 Fantasy Football Encyclopedia Rookie of the Year


Jim Kiick, Miami Dolphins (172.30)


Kiick played in 14 games (started 13 games) and had 621 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns. He also had 44 receptions for 422 receiving yards.

Wide Receiver

Earl McCullouch, Detroit Lions (139.30)


McCullouch played in 14 games (started 14 games) and had 40 receptions for 680 receiving yards and 5 receiving touchdowns. He also had 13 rushing yards. 


Mac Haik, Houston Oilers (139.10)


Haik played in 14 games (started 13 games) and had 32 receptions for 584 receiving yards and 8 receiving touchdowns. He also had 7 rushing yards.


Haven Moses, Buffalo Bills (116.90)


Moses played in 14 games (started 14 games) and had 42 receptions for 633 receiving yards and 2 receiving touchdowns. He also had -4 receiving yards. 

Tight End

Bob Trumpy, Cincinnati Bengals (118.80)


Trumpy played in 14 games (started 11 games) and had 37 receptions for 639 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns. He also had -1 rushing yards.
