1969 FFE All-Rookie Team

Along with naming a Fantasy Football Encyclopedia Rookie of the Year winner for each season starting in 1963, I also wanted to recognize the other outstanding rookies from each individual season. Each All-Rookie Team will have one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers and one tight end. Here is the 1969 Fantasy Football Encyclopedia All-Rookie Team. Fantasy points are shown in ( ). 

Quarterback

Greg Cook, Cincinnati Bengals (162.96)

Cook played in 11 games (started 11 games) and had 1,854 passing yards with 15 passing touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also had 148 rushing yards and 1 rushing touchdowns. 

Running Back

Calvin Hill, Dallas Cowboys (202.88)


Hill played in 13 games (started 13 games) and had 942 rushing yards and 8 rushing touchdowns. He also had 20 receptions for 232 receiving yards. Additionally, he had 137 passing ayrds and 2 passing touchdwons. Hill was the 1969 Fantasy Football Encyclopedia Rookie of the Year


Larry Brown, Washington Redskins (177.00)


Brown played in 14 games (started 13 games) and had 888 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns. He also had 34 receptions for 302 receiving yards.

Wide Receiver

Gene Washington, Minnesota Vikings (175.10)


Washington played in 14 games (started 14 games) and had 51 receptions for 711 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns. He also had -4 rushing yards. 


Jerry LeVias, Houston Oilers (143.40)


LeVias played in 14 games (started 7 games) and had 42 receptions for 696 receiving yards and 5 receiving touchdowns. He also had 18 rushing yards.


Ron Sellers, Boston Patriots (133.50)


Sellers played in 12 games (started 9 games) and had 27 receptions for 705 receiving yards and 6 receiving touchdowns.

Tight End

Jim Mitchell, Atlanta Falcons (87.60)


Mitchell played in 14 games (started 14 games) and had 22 receptions for 339 receiving yards and 4 receiving touchdowns. He also had 77 rushing yards.
